Account & Data Deletion Request
1. What Data is Permanently Deleted?
Upon processing an account deletion request, the following records are permanently expunged from our active production database:
- Authentication Identity: Firebase Auth credentials, login email, phone number, and password hashes.
- Personal Profile: Full name, emergency contacts, blood group, profile photos, and campus badge records.
- Document Verification: Uploaded government ID photos, KYC images, and digital signatures.
- Device Tokens: Push notification tokens, biometric sync mappings, and local session caches.
2. What Data is Retained for Legal Compliance?
Under Indian tax and tenancy laws (including the Income Tax Act and GST regulations), historical payment receipts, rent transaction invoices, and accounting ledger records must be retained for up to 7 years. These records are decoupled from your active identity, anonymized, and stored in an isolated archive accessible solely for statutory audits.
